Tomas is a professional musician who started developing a passion for music at the age of 5 while living in Japan. This is where he began his studies in piano, violin, guitar, and later, saxophone. Throughout grade school, he consistently made all-county and all-state bands/orchestras, and received superior ratings from the Florida Bandmasters Association. During high school, he was chosen multiple times to perform on PBS for American Idol X as a soloist with the Coral Gables Symphony. He started playing professionally at the age of 15 with the Space Coast Symphony Orchestra and landed his first principal violin position with the Villages Philharmonic during his senior year of high school at the age of 18. Also, in his senior year of high school, he began to tour with the Trans Siberian Orchestra. For his first year in college, he served as concertmaster at Florida International University and later as concertmaster of the Berklee/Boston Conservatory Scholarship Orchestra.
